Parents Association
Welcome to the Parents Association

The main aim of the P.A. at Woodheys is to raise valuable funds to help purchase items that fall outside the scope of the school budget, from specialist books to learning aids, sports kits to activity trails, to enable all of our children to get a little extra help, be it physical or mental stimulation.

We host a number of events annually from Car Boot Sales to International Food Evenings to try and generate extra income and we welcome all new ideas and members. We currently have approximately 20 core members and a few occasional helpers (this equates to roughly 5% of parents with children at Woodheys) and we are immensely proud of what we continually achieve with such a few dedicated members who give up their “spare!” time over and over again along with some of our Teachers of course! and a flexible Site Manager!

If you are up to the challenge and could help us in any of the following ways please feel free to get in touch:
Become a Member- (meetings usually the first Monday of the month at school 19.00hrs).
Sponsor an Event- Through “Match Funding” you can help double our amount raised at an event (we are a registered charity-No. 1104068) so can be off set against tax!
Help at an Event- Just send a message stating you can help at a certain time or event.
The P.A. at Woodheys Primary school is currently chaired by Jacky Galloway. Jacky is contactable through the school and is usually present in the morning before school starts at the Main Entrance or directly via the following:
