The Science of Sound

In our investigations so far, we have discovered that sound travels in all directions, but as the experiment shows below, it is possible to direct sound and even 'bounce' or reflect sound off hard surfaces. We become aware of this effect every time we hear an echo. The children agreed that the sound was louder when bounced off the walls.
