Woodheys Primary School has developed its uniform policy in line with Department for Education guidance on the cost of school uniforms. We aim to ensure that our uniform is affordable, practical and inclusive. To minimise costs for families, the majority of uniform items can be purchased from a range of high street and supermarket retailers. Only a small number of items are branded with the school logo. The school keeps compulsory branded items to the minimum required and regularly reviews its uniform requirements to ensure they represent good value for money and do not create unnecessary financial barriers for families. Second-hand uniform is also available through the school.
We have a maximum of three compulsory branded items:
- School Jumper or Cardigan
- School Tie
- PE T-shirt
